New Jewellery for May

Above is a gorgeous grey agate and shell pearl necklace and bracelet set, perfect for a wedding or just perfect for any other occasion.

From 1st May for one month we will have some of our jewellery in The Crafters Shop in Melrose, as we have a guest spot in their shop. Really exciting, The Crafters Shop is in the Market Square in Melrose, and is open every weekday and on Saturdays too. So if you would like to see some of our new designs just pop along to the shop or send an email to info@gillybeanjewels.co.uk, and make an arrangement to view some items at our workshop!! It’s been ages since we lasted posted anything on this site. Sorry about that. Anyway this year we will be attending a Craft Fair in Redpath in May and one in December(never too early for christmas)!! In May we will again have a guest spot in the Crafters Shop in Melrose. Looking forward to that immensly. We have lots of fresh new ideas for jewellery coming out soon. Please keep you eyes peeled and check us out. Photos will be up soon.

Xmas Gift Ideas

If you are looking forward to Christmas but not the stress of searching for gifts for loved ones then look no further! We have a new range of jewellery available for xmas gifts handmade using all the best freshwater pearls and gemstones amongst other lovely beads.

Thank you to all our new customers who visited us at the Help for Heroes xmas event last weekend. We had a great time and a special thanks to the cadet volunteers who helped to raise awareness for the event and the good work of Help for Heroes.

We have a few handmade pieces left over from the event, some of which are shown in the photos below. If you would like to make an order before xmas then contact us now at: info@gillybeanjewels.co.uk stating your requirements including size, materials and if you are under any special budget.

Our bracelets range from £10-30, necklaces from £10-65 and earrings range from £5-25.

Gillybean at the Crafters Art & Design Fayre

Hi,
This weekend we are going to be at the Crafter’s Art and Design Fayre at Springwood Hall, Springwood Park in Kelso. Look out for some of our new designs, or something for that Christmas Party, or maybe just a lovely present for someone. We will also have a couple of pieces appearing in the crafter’s exhibition stand at the fair, these pieces will also be for sale.

Really looking forward to being there. Hall is open from 10am till 5pm both Saturday and Sunday.

It seems to have been too long since we last wrote a message here! Anyway back now. Next weekend 6th Of November, we are going to the ‘Help for Heroes’ Craft Fair being held in Edinburgh at ‘The Hub’, Catlehill, at the top of the Royal Mile. The Fair is on from 10.30am to 4.30pm – in the fist floor of the building, just follow the signs.

If you are looking for Christmas presents why not give us a visit at the Fair. Maybe you are looking for some party ‘bling’for yourself, well we will have some handcrafted pieces made exclusively by us for Christmas parties. Remember if we don’t have anything on our stall that suits you we can make you something that no one else will have!

We like making jewellery!

Today I have been busy getting stock ready for the ‘Crafters’ shop in Melrose. Always trying to make something I haven’t made before- but that can be difficult, I love a challenge though.

Gillybean Jewels will have quite a few pairs of earrings in sterling silver, with hand crafted earwires. Also a few pairs in 9ct gold wire. As well as earrings, we will also have some pearl necklaces (some hand knotted with silk) lovely., some semi precious gemstone necklaces, and glass bead necklaces. Some sterling silver pendant free-form wire work necklaces will also be on sale. Plus a few bracelets featuring freshwater pearls with semi precious gemstones, silver etc will also be on sale.

Looking forward to the Crafters ‘guest spot’ in June, please come along and see some of our lovely jewellery.

Hi everyone,
We have some exciting news for you. From 1st of June 2011to the 30th June 2011 we have been given a guest spot in the ‘Crafter’ Melrose Shop, in Market Square, Melrose.

So at the moment we are feverishly making some new items for this particular venue. Come and see some of the lovely gold and silver wire worked earrings some using freshwater pearls in various colours, and other designs with semi-precious gemstones and glass. We will also have some bracelets, necklaces and possibly some silver rings- if they get finished on time. All our designs are unique to us, affordable and made by us!

Christmas Gifts

Thank you to all of those who helped make the last two Christmas gift events in Kelso a real success.

Gillybean Jewels had a stand at the Help for Heroes charity Christmas fair at the end of October which was a fantastic event that helped to raise a great deal of money for a worthy cause – so thank you to all our customers who visited the stand.

Last weekend we attended the Crafters Christmas Fair at Kelso which had over 1000 visiters who enjoyed a whole range of scottish handmade gifts including Gillybean Jewels.
